Abstract

The system currently running at ABC hotels in Surabaya is desktop-based, so when booking a hotel, customers still have to come to the hotel to get information about the hotel and hotel services and to book rooms and other facilities from the hotel. Therefore a website-based system is needed so that customers are facilitated in terms of booking and search for hotel information including information on room availability, room reservations, to payment transactions. The system was developed from the old system which was given additional features such as warning messages when the check-in date was entered close to the check-in date that was already filled in, and the system could provide suggestions in the form of dates that were still available. Development of this ordering information system, we use diagram modelling such as Use Case Diagrams, flowcharts, Entity Relationship Diagrams and prototyping models. The method used in the development of the booking system uses the waterfall method with the aim of facilitating the process of developing this hotel room reservation system so that it can be completed on time in accordance with ABC hotel requests.
