Abstract

This study used descriptive analysis, where the population and sample were Ma'arif Vocational School teachers in the city of Surabaya, totaling 163 people. The results of this study are that the indicator of being present and leaving on time is the most dominant indicator influencing the work discipline of vocational school teachers, while the weak indicator is making teaching programs. Efforts to improve teacher work discipline can be carried out through reliable leadership practices, because leader behavior can generate a sense of pride and trust in subordinates, inspire and motivate subordinates, stimulate creativity and innovation in subordinates.
