DESAIN PROTOTYPING SISTEM INFORMASI MANAJEMEN LAYANAN RESERVASI HOTEL X BERBASIS WEB

Abstract

The flow of the leading business processes at the hotel briefly starts when the guest makes the reservation then continues to the confirmation stage and ends the payment process. Along with the increasing number of tickets reservations, there are several obstacles such as there are errors in recording reservations that are not following guest requests, lack of availability of proper room reservation management that will result in the emergence of a sense of dissatisfaction felt by the guests. The receptionist also sometimes still has difficulty in processing data or forms that are always done manually. So to overcome this, it is deemed necessary to make a web-based hotel reservation information system (Wiastuti et al., 2018). In the implementation of this information system design will use the waterfall method. This method is considered suitable because the process is done sequentially or linearly. The final results obtained are the benefits that can be acquired by the hotel where the hotel will be more comfortable in serving the reservation of guests who will stay and minimize the recording errors in the Front Office in recording guest data, and can help in conveying information with media publications about the hotel to guests who will stay overnight.
