Abstract

Job analysis is the basic of human resource management (HRM). It covers the job analysis activities under the Human Resources planning. Some companies in Indonesia still think that they do not need job analysis: the fact is job analysis very important, it could be avery powerful tool for the company to get the right employee for certain job. In may cases of small and medium corporate, often the companies do not describes the jobs function and the hierachical structure in their comapnis and this could lead to a problem. In PT. Inaho jaya lestari, job analysis was never done. PT. Inaho jaya lestari does not state any job description or work instrustion and job requiretment for each job. Looking at the condition this could lead to a problem for the company. This research is conducted to find it job analysis could help improve the job performance. The reserach by observing the employees in the finishing departement in PT. Inaho jaya lestari. The research also conducted to analyzed the process of job analysis, such as analyze job description, standard performance, training performance appraisal, and other things that we can get through job analysis process. The result of the reerah is optimic. The study showers tha there is an imporvement in job performance of the workers in finishing departement is only happen in some part. But from the reserach, we can conclude tha trhee is oppurunity to improve more job performance for tthe long term period. All the figures show tat there is improvement in job performance.
